This guide follows the rules for CRP PO/MT-XVI (2026), set out in the IBPS notification dated 30 June 2026. Registration for this cycle ran 1-21 July 2026. If you are getting ready for a later cycle, open the IBPS website and the detailed notification (PDF) and read Annexure III before you prepare anything, because sizes and wording can be revised between cycles.
For this cycle you prepare five files. Four are JPG images: your photograph, your signature, your left thumb impression and the declaration you write by hand. The fifth is your Class 10 (SSC/SSLC) certificate as a PDF. The certificate only has a ceiling, 500 KB. The notification also gives a minimum of 200 DPI for the images.
IBPS wants a recent passport-style colour photo in which you look straight at the camera. The background should be light, preferably white. No caps, hats or dark glasses. The file must be a JPG between 20 KB and 50 KB, and the listed size is 200 x 230 pixels.
Face a window during the day so the light falls evenly on both cheeks, with a plain white wall behind you. Ask someone else to hold the phone at eye level instead of taking a selfie from below. Then crop to a head-and-shoulders portrait with Image Crop before you change the size.
Photos straight from a phone are usually several megabytes, far above 50 KB. Fit Image to KB lets you enter the pixel size and the KB range together, so resizing and compression happen in one pass. The notice also mentions a live photo captured by webcam or phone, in addition to this file.
Sign with black ink on white paper, in your usual hand and not in CAPITAL letters. IBPS says it must match the signature you give at the exam, so do not create a neater version for the form. The JPG must weigh between 10 KB and 20 KB and its listed dimensions are 140 x 60 pixels. That is a small, wide strip, so crop tightly and leave only a thin white margin around the strokes.
Use black or blue ink on white paper and press your left thumb down once, firmly, without rolling it. The print should cover a 3 cm x 3 cm area. The image is square, listed at 240 x 240 pixels, and must fall between 20 KB and 50 KB.
Write it in English, in your own handwriting, with black ink on white paper and not in capital letters. Copy the exact text printed in the notification, word for word. The written area is 10 cm x 5 cm, and the JPG must sit between 50 KB and 100 KB at a listed 800 x 400 pixels. Because that minimum is fairly high, a mostly white page with thin writing can come out too light. If so, Meet Minimum Size raises the file above the floor without changing what it shows.
The Class 10 (SSC/SSLC) certificate goes up as a PDF on an A4 page, no larger than 500 KB. The notification's own tip is to lower the scanner DPI if the file comes out bigger. With only a phone, lay the certificate flat on a table in daylight, keep your hand's shadow off it, and use Scan to PDF to turn the photo into a PDF. If it is still over the limit, Compress PDF can bring it to a KB target. Zoom in afterwards and confirm your name and marks are still easy to read.
Every DocNimble tool linked on this page works inside your browser. Your photo, signature and certificate are not uploaded to DocNimble.
IBPS issues a fresh notification for each cycle, and details such as KB limits, pixel sizes or the declaration text may change. Keep your original high-resolution photos and scans, not only the compressed copies. If a new notice asks for something different, you can make fresh files from the originals instead of squeezing an already-compressed image again. Treat the latest notice on the official site as the final word.

Compress PDF · Fit image to KBCrop away the spare background first, so most of the pixels you keep show your face and shoulders. Then resize to 200 x 230 pixels and compress until the file sits between 20 KB and 50 KB. At that pixel size, a photo rarely needs heavy compression, so it should stay sharp. Always start each attempt from the original picture rather than recompressing a copy you have already shrunk.
Not for this cycle. IBPS lists only JPG/JPEG for the photograph, signature, thumb impression and declaration. If a scanner app gave you a PNG, convert it to a genuine JPG instead of editing the file name, since a renamed PNG is still a PNG inside and upload checks can catch that. After converting, check the signature again, because it still has to land between 10 KB and 20 KB.
Use the exact text printed in the CRP PO/MT-XVI notification, not a version from a coaching site, a friend or an older cycle. We have deliberately not reproduced it here, because the wording must come straight from the official notice. Write it in English in your own handwriting, with black ink on white paper, avoid capital letters, and keep it within a 10 cm x 5 cm area.
Two causes are common. A small print on lots of white paper can compress to under 20 KB, and a rectangular crop will not match the square 240 x 240 pixel listing. Crop to a square around the print with a little white margin, fit it to the range, and if it still comes out too light, use a tool that raises the file above the minimum without altering the image.
The notification says your signature must match the one you give at the exam. So upload the signature you naturally use on official papers, the one you can repeat without thinking. Avoid a stylised version you would struggle to copy under pressure, and never sign in CAPITAL letters, which the notice does not accept for this file.
